'The House' is the story of a group of young bohemian squatters who live in
a boarded-up old house. A darkly comedic and intense character drama, the
film is about the struggle to survive the madness of life at the bottom.
The first directing effort by actor/writer David Krae, 'The House' is a smart
and funny film that is indicative of good things to come. A true independent
production '...the making of this film is very much like the story itself - making
the best with what you've got.'
Shot in Toronto with a strong ensemble cast of characters, the film is a fun
and dramatic story that highlights strong dramatic performances from some
of Canada's hottest young stars.
